Councilwoman Joan Bauer Emerges from Crowded Primary Victorious

Despite low voter turnout, there was a still a tight race in the crowded Democratic primary for 68th District state House seat.

However , Lansing City Councilwoman Joan Bauer won with almost 33% of the vote.

On the Republican ballot, Harilaos Sorovigas ran unopposed. a heavily Democratic county.

The current seat will be vacated by Michael C. Murphy  D-Lansing due to term limits.
