CATA GIVES FREE RIDES ON ELECTION DAY
Sunday, August 02, 2009

LANSING, MI --On Tuesday, August 4, 2009, the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will offer free rides to customers with a valid voter registration card.  The card must be presented to the driver when boarding to receive the free ride.

Free rides on all CATA services will be provided during regular hours of service when riders show their voter registration card.
The fixed-route service is what most people are familiar with--buses traveling regular routes at scheduled times. Days of operation and service hours vary by route. View route schedules or CATA's system map.

For further information, call a CATA Customer Service Representative (Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM and weekends, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) at 517-394-1000.
