LANSING, MI -- Shabazz Public School Academy’s Parent, Teacher, Staff, Organization (PTSO) wanted make sure that the tireless efforts  and caring nature of one of their greatest supporters, Carol Greer, would not be forgotten. 

The school recently had  a free new and gently used clothing giveaway in honor of Ms. Greer  who passed away on November 3, 2009 after a long illness.
She was a former board member at the school for 7 years.  She worked for Michigan’s Department of Social Services.  She was also a small business owner and had her own television show, The Carol Greer Show, which she hosted and produced.

She worked within a few weeks prior to her passing on the free clothing giveaway.  Shabazz served over 60 families.

Superintendent Eugene Cain said, “The late Carol Greer served on the Shabazz children and families was unmatched!  We dearly miss her spirited love for Shabazz students.”
