LANSING, MI -- The mo za’ ik is a multicultural networking group that gives people the opportunity to meet and greet with in an intimate setting. It gave the attendees the opportunity to talk about their businesses and also their hobbies. The speaker for the evening was Chris Holman, owner of the Lansing Business Monthly. He spoke about business at home and abroad. Holman gave hope and encouragement to the crowd and encouraged them to continue working towards their dreams. The networking event raised $400.00 for the Que’n with Kids barbecue and Peace and Prosperity programs. This networking event was unique in that everyone who attended met each other and made contacts. Mary Grady, who is student said, “I had a great time meeting people that I probably would not have met otherwise.” Note: See more photos and read more about the mo za’ ik in the September 12, 2010 - September 25, 2010 edition.
