“We are pleased to see so many customers and residents take advantage of this community event each year,” remarked Sandy Draggoo, CATA CEO/Executive Director. “Free health screenings can really make a difference in someone’s life. Thanks to the participating agencies and organizations, we are able to put those in need in touch with the right resources.”
Local health and human service organizations will be on hand to provide a variety of health screenings and services. Visitors can be screened for cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure levels, bone density, oral cancer, stroke risk, vision, and spinal conditions. Other free services include public insurance enrollments, substance abuse, asthma prevention, prenatal and family planning services, WIC enrollment, mental health, nutrition education, celiac disease, senior services and a host of additional resources.
