Lena is a spirited well loved German Shepard.  Her human, Joseph Lehning, wished The New Citizens Press a Happy New Year when he sent us her photo.

Lena and Lehning walked at Fenner Nature Center in Lansing.  Lena enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells of the woods and fields. She even cooperated for this photo.
