Morgan Nicole Quinney

Morgan Nicole Quinney , 17, is currently a senior at J.W. Sexton High School where she maintains a 3.5 GPA.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and is in Advanced Placement/College Preparatory Program.  She attends morning classes at General Motors where she participates in LAMP (Lansing Area Manufacturing Program).  Morgan is a varsity cheerleader and has been a cheerleader for Sexton since her freshman year.  Morgan has also played softball.  During her junior year Morgan participated in the Sexton’s First Annual Ms. Sexton Pagent and she placed 1st Runner Up.  Since the 7th grade, Morgan has been a member of Ingham County Youth Commission where she has held the positions of Treasurer and Reporter.  Morgan is listed in Who's Who of High School Students.  Morgan is a member of Sexton’s PTSA where she helps with fundraising activities.  She has participated in three summer programs at Michigan State University. She received a scholarship from the King Chavez Parks Program which she has participated in every year since the 7th grade.  Morgan plans to attend college and she has received a scholarship from 2 + 2 + 2 Engineering Program from Lansing Community College and Michigan State University.

 Morgan has been a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church since birth and is very active with the youth department; traveling with the Mustard Seeds Kids/puppeteers to the annual Baptist convention and other states teaching and ministering with puppets, sign language, mime and step dance.  She has also been in the choir and participated in several plays at Christmas and Easter.  

 Morgan also loves to model and has been in three of Sexton’s Annual Fashion Shows. She also has modeled for Daughter’s of Divine Purpose conference.
