Do you have an opinion? 6-7

Dear Rina,
I want to take the opportunity to thank you for coordinating the Capital City Community Action Network's Town Hall forum on March 31st, 2007. I commend you on establishing this group and bringing together so many community leaders to discuss issues that affect the Lansing community.
The type of dialogue that took place at Trinity AME was an extremely important first step in bringing positive change to the Lansing area. It was good to hear directly from the community about issues of education, employment, housing, health care, and other concerns in Lansing.
Again, thank you for organizing this forum for the community. I look forward to working with you on these issues in the future. If I ever may be of assistance, please feel free to contact my office.

(Thank you for your leadership! Great event.)

Note:  It is our responsibility as human beings and citizens to give people an opportunity to speak without fear of not being heard.  We have received over 20 phone calls alone asking when the next Town Hall Forum is going to be.  When we have another, we will let you know.  Thank you to the people of the city of Lansing for making the event a success.
